Warning after kerb led to parking fine

I WOULD like to let fellow motorists know the dangers of parking in Lichfield.

Last week, I parked outside number 55 in Tamworth Street as 90p an hour is expensive for a few minutes.

On my return, I found a parking ticket on my car, when clearly signed you can park for 30 minutes.

On closer inspection I was done for 'code 27', which is parking on a dropped kerb. The kerb was dropped, but it is not in use.

There are no notices or lines to say no parking.

So motorists beware.
